SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ is delighted to have been awarded £14 million of investment from the national Elective Recovery Fund to build an additional inpatient ward. The new ward will help the Trust increase the number of elective procedures to reduce waiting times for patients. Drop off only at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Hospital Accident and Emergency

Vehicle access to SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Hospital’s Accident and Emergency (A & E) Department has changed to ‘drop off’ only.  This change has been made to improve access for Ambulances and applies to the approach ramp as well as the area immediately outside A & E.  Previously, it had been possible to park on the ramp but this is no longer allowed.

Statement on the charging of Mr Mansoor Khan

Salisbury Foundation Trust can confirm that Mr Khan has worked at the Trust as a Plastic Surgeon since 2009.  He has been suspended from work since August 2021. The Trust has been reassured by the National Crime Agency investigation team that none of the charges relate to Mr Khan's clinical work at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Hospital.

'We Reflect' - A service to mark the second anniversary of the first national lockdown

SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ and Salisbury Cathedral are holding a special service, 'We Reflect', to mark the second anniversary of the start of the first national lockdown back in March 2020. The service, which starts at 17:30 on Tuesday 22nd March, is a wonderful opportunity for all local health and care staff to come together with the community to reflect upon the experiences of the past two years. This ecumenical service is open to all communities in South Wiltshire, North and East Dorset and South West Hampshire and is accessible to all faiths and those with none.
